Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains how Awareness Marketing handles personal data during our pre-launch and early-access period. Awareness Marketing is currently in development, so this policy will be reviewed and expanded before the product launches.

Who We Are

Awareness Marketing is a content marketing platform being developed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). It is a sister brand of AwarenessAI, and is being built by Tom Mason and Andrew Mason, based in Leeds, United Kingdom.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Awareness Marketing is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, you can contact us at tom@awarenessai.co.uk.

The Information We Collect

Because the product is not yet live, we do not operate user accounts and we do not store your data inside a live platform. At this stage, we only hold the personal data you actively choose to send us:

  • Contact and early-access details: your name, email address, company name and any message you include when you email us or use our contact and early-access forms.

  • Correspondence: the content of emails and messages you send to us.

  • Basic technical data: our website may collect limited, standard information such as your browser type and general location through server logs or privacy-friendly analytics, used only to keep the site secure and understand overall usage.

We do not knowingly collect special category data, and we ask that you do not send us sensitive personal information.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiries and questions.

  • To add you to our early-access list and send you occasional product and launch updates, where you have asked us to.

  • To understand which features, workflows and levels of support would be most useful, so we can shape the product before launch.

  • To keep our website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Our Lawful Bases

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases for processing your data:

  • Consent: when you join our early-access list or send us a message, you are asking us to contact you. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

  • Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, keep our website secure, and develop our product, in a way that does not override your rights and freedoms.

Sharing Your Information

We keep your information confidential and only share it where necessary:

  • Service providers: trusted providers who help us operate, such as email and form services. They act on our instructions and only process data as needed to provide their service.

  • Legal reasons: where we are required to share information to comply with the law or protect our rights.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected to UK standards.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example while you remain on our early-access list or while we are in contact with you. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will keep it under review as the product develops.

Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies before launch, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • ask us to delete your data;

  • restrict or object to how we use your data;

  • ask us to transfer your data to another provider;

  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at tom@awarenessai.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Keeping Your Data Secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us.

Children

Awareness Marketing is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to This Policy

As Awareness Marketing moves towards launch, we will update this policy to reflect how the live product handles data. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
