What is llms.txt?

Llms.txt is a proposed convention: a plain text file at the root of a website that gives AI systems a curated, readable summary of the site and its most important pages, similar in spirit to robots.txt.

Why it matters

AI crawlers work with limited context. A concise map of what a site offers, in a format built for machines, makes accurate retrieval and citation easier.

How to use it

List the site's purpose, key pages with one-line descriptions and core facts, keep it current and host it at yourdomain.com/llms.txt.
